The Council has 112 units in Kaiapoi, Oxford, Rangiora and Woodend for people over 65 with limited means.

The WaiSwim learn to swim programme is offered at Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre, Dudley Park Aquatic Centre and Oxford Community Aquatic Centre (summer months only). WaiSwim is a registered Quality Swim School with Swimming New Zealand. The focus of our programme is to provide children and adults with a strong foundation of balance and body positioning in the water and then build on these skills. Learning to swim is a life skill and takes time.
Bookings open for term 3 on Tuesday 30 June 2020. Lessons commence Monday 20 July 2020.

Adult group swimming lessons are available at Dudley Park Aquatic Centre. Lessons are run on Wednesday evenings in 5 week blocks and there are 5 levels available. Lessons are 25 minutes in duration with a maximum of 4 people per group.
