Swim School

Coronavirus COVID-19 update: All Council facilities and buildings are closed as of Monday 23 March until further notice. This includes: services centres, libraries, aquatic centres, halls and meeting venues. Playgrounds are also closed. Essential services remain in operation – this includes services such as roading, water, sewerage and stormwater, and refuse and recycling collection. The WaiSwim learn to swim programme is offered at Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre, Dudley Park Aquatic Centre and Oxford Community Aquatic Centre (summer months only). WaiSwim is a registered Quality Swim School with Swimming New Zealand. The focus of our programme is to provide children and adults with a strong foundation of balance and body positioning in the water and then build on these skills. Learning to swim is a life skill and takes time.

Bookings for term one open Tuesday 10th December 2019. Lessons commence Monday the 27th January 2020.

Adults Aquatic Swimming Lessons – Term 1 2020

Adult group swimming lessons are available at Dudley Park Aquatic Centre. Lessons are run on Wednesday evenings in 5 week blocks and there are 5 levels available. Lessons are 25 minutes in duration with a maximum of 4 people per group.

Masters Coaching Programme

Come and swim in our masters programme. We have swimming to suit all levels - entry level fitness through to masters competitions and everything in between. Develop your stroke and fitness in a fun environment with our experienced coaches.
