From Friday 22 August to Friday 29 August 2025, Council will be carrying out flushing of the water supply network in Ravenswood, Woodend, Tuahiwi and Pegasus between 8am and 5pm each day.
This routine work helps remove natural manganese build-up in the pipes and makes sure our fire hydrants are working as they should.
When flushing is scheduled near your property, you’ll receive a flyer in your letterbox. Once the work is complete, we recommend running your taps for a few minutes to clear any discoloured water before use.
