Due to the previous flooding at the twin 1.2m culverts during high rain fall events, we are upgrading this culvert to improve the flows under the ROW to 129–131A Mairaki Road.

The work will include

• Removal of the old 1.2m culverts.
• Installing the new 3x2m box culverts.

Timing of work

We anticipate starting these work on 30 March and should be completed by 10 April.

How the work may affect you

During the work window, vehicle access to the properties past the work site will not be available between 7.30am and 5pm. Temporary vehicle access will be installed outside working hours to the affected properties.

Essential services

There will be no planned disruption to your water, wastewater, telephone or power services.

Weather

In the event of bad weather or for unforeseen circumstances, the work may be delayed.

Safety

Please warn your children of the dangers posed by road works. Ensure that they stay well back from the work site and they follow the directions of the workers.
