Looking for ideas to tantalise your taste buds? Waimakariri’s Multicultural Cooking Class series is back for another year and there is plenty on offer!
The Council has joined Global Locals of Waimakariri (GLOW) to host seven cooking classes every Wednesday night from 30 July to 10 September at Kaiapoi High School.
The classes are run by residents who either want to share their favourite home-style dishes from their countries of origin, or by New Zealand born locals who enjoy embracing other cultures.
There is a smorgasbord of cuisines to choose from including French, Malaysian, Filipino, Chinese, Indian, Persian and Israeli.
The cooking series will be held in the hospitality kitchen at Kaiapoi High School and classes are limited to 20 people each. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased via Humanitix.
