The Woodend community are being asked to share their ideas to help develop a new concept plan for Owen Stalker Park, located between Woodend School and the Woodend Recreation Reserve.

The final result for the Waimakariri District Council elections have now been released. There are no changes to overall standings.

If you have an interest in making the District even more age-friendly then we would like to hear from you. Waimakariri District Council is recruiting for its Age-friendly Advisory Group to help it implement the recently adopted Waimakariri Age-friendly Plan.

Annual Report for 2018-2019 Adopted

Yesterday Waimakariri District Council adopted the Annual Report for the 2018-2019 financial year which reflected on the significant amount of work achieved in the last year.

New rating valuations for Waimakariri

The Waimakariri District Rating Revaluation for 2019 is now confirmed and property owners will soon receive a 2019 Notice of Rating Valuation with an updated rating value for their property.

In just over two weeks voting will have closed and Waimakariri will soon find out who will represent us for the coming three years.

The Council’s Youth Development Grant is now open and ready to accept applications for the 2019/20 funding year.
