There is upcoming resealing works on Tram Road, between Island Rd and the State Highway Overbridge. This work is planned to take place on Friday 21 March.

Update: The westbound closure of Tram Road has been postponed to Friday 21 March due to rain.
13 March
Due to the location of the reseal site and traffic volumes, a west bound closure of Tram Road will be in place between the hours of 6am and 2:30pm, with traffic being diverted to use the Ohoka Road off-ramp.
Access to the motorway will still be available from Main North Road, and the right turn from the off-ramp onto Tram Road will be available.
Warning signs and a VMS board will be installed by the contractor from Friday to notify the public, and the state highway electronic signs will advertise that the Tram Road off-ramp will closed on the 20th March.
This will allow for continued flow of eastbound traffic through the morning, with the west bound lane being re-opened before the afternoon peak comes through.
