Road Re-Sealing Works – Loburn Whiterock Road

Road re-sealing (chip seal) works will take place on Loburn Whiterock Road within the highlighted area on the map provided.

These works are part of Council’s annual resealing programme, which serves two essential functions:

  • Waterproofing the road to protect the structure beneath.
  • Renewing the surface texture to improve grip and safety for all road users.

Schedule of Works:

  • 2 April Update: Unexpected circumstances mean we need to delay the work by one day.
  • New Proposed Start Date: Friday 4 April and Monday 7 April
  • Expected Completion: 7 April 2025 (Post-seal care to continue for up to seven working days)
  • Working Hours: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm

Traffic Management & Access:

  • A Stop/Go system will be in place, with Traffic Management personnel on site.
  • Emergency access and resident access will be maintained where possible; however, minor delays may occur.
  • On-street parking will not be available within the construction zone. Please refrain from parking in coned-off areas.
  • Any vehicles left in the designated work zone may be towed to a nearby street.

Additional Information:

  • In the event of adverse weather, work will be rescheduled, and a follow-up notice will be issued with the new dates.
  • Following re-sealing, a sweeper truck will be deployed to remove loose chip, and road markings will be reinstated as required.
  • If walking through the construction area, please ensure your footwear is free from any loose material before entering your property.
  • Pet owners are advised to keep animals within private property during construction.
  • Some construction-related noise and vibration may be experienced. The contractor will take all reasonable measures to minimise disruption.

Property Access Requirements:
If you have specific access requirements, such as medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries, or planned works, please advise us in advance.
