There are 20 one-bedroom units available with a move in date in early May 2026. The modern 52sqm units feature a separate bedroom, kitchen/ dining area, lounge, internal laundry and a large deck at the front and rear to enable good indoor/ outdoor flow with accessibility features including shared ramps to ensure residents can navigate their homes safely and independently.

A shared energy system ensures each block is provided hot water and heating to a set minimum temperature and is included as part of the rent.

Our aim is to provide safe, comfortable and supportive housing for our elderly community. A connection to Waimakariri is preferred, whether you currently or have resided in the district in the past or have family in the area. A willingness to adapt to living harmoniously in a close community environment is also essential.

Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria including minimum age requirements, assets and equity testing, and a medical assessment to determine suitability for independent living. A full list of criteria is outlined in the application form.

Rent for a couple is $323 per week.
