Upgrade work on irrigation race R3-1 (West Eyreton, Horrellville, Eyrewell) will take place from Monday 8 June to Sunday 14 June 2026.
During this period, the section of the race located north of 664 Wrights Road, Burnt Hill will be temporarily shut down.
To maintain water flow, Waimakariri Irrigation Limited (WIL) will operate pumps to transfer water into the stockwater race downstream. However, this may cause temporary interruptions to water supply for downstream properties:
- Carleton Road
- Wolffs Road
- Poyntzs Road
- Worlingham Road
- Main Race Road
- Pesters Road
- Downs Road
- Eyredale Road
- Eastwick Lane
- Isaac Road
- Two Chain Road.
