Road resealing works are scheduled for Ohoka Road and River Road on Saturday 21 March and Victoria Street (Northbrook Road to Queen Street) on 28-29 March 2026.
Ohoka Road, Kaiapoi
Road resurfacing (chip seal) will take place on Ohoka Road, between Kaiapoi High School and Vickery Street. The works are being completed on Saturday 21 March to minimise impact to the high school.
Work hours: 6am – 6pm
A No Entry will be in place on Ohoka Road, along with side‑road closures. Resident and emergency access will be maintained where possible, but delays should be expected.
River Road, Rangiora
Road resurfacing (chip seal) will be carried out on River Road, between Ashley Street and Cones Road, on Saturday 21 March, weather permitting.
Work hours: 6am – 6pm
A full road closure will be in place throughout the works. Property and emergency access will be maintained where possible, but delays should be expected.
Victoria Street (Northbrook Road to Queen Street), Rangiora
Road resurfacing (chip seal) will take place on Victoria Street, between Northbrook Road and Queen Street, on 28–29 March, weather permitting.
Work hours: 6am – 6pm
A road closure will be in place during sealing, with traffic management staff onsite. Property and emergency access will be maintained where possible, but delays should be expected.
