As part of the redevelopment of Murphy Park we are demolishing the old Kaiapoi Croquet building.
The work will include
- Remove asbestos safely.
- Demolition of old Croquet building (fencing will remain temporarily).
- Remove concrete floors and footings.
- Level site and track roll.
Timing of work
Work is due to start 26 January and is expected to take three days.
How the work will affect you
Murphy Park will stay open and accessible throughout the duration of the project and river access will remain available.
Traffic impacts
There will be no traffic impacts, please follow safety signage.
General impacts
Hours
All work will be undertaken Monday to Friday, between 7am and 6pm.
Weather
In the event of bad weather or for unforeseen circumstances, the work may be delayed.
Safety
Please warn your children of the dangers posed by construction works. Ensure that they stay well back from the work site and they follow the signage.
