EV Charging Network Upgrade Update – Rangiora, Oxford & Woodend

We’re making upgrades across our EV charging network to help future-proof the sites and improve reliability for the long term.

Some chargers are currently offline while MainPower carries out essential network works.

Here’s what’s happening around the district:

Rangiora

  • Both AC chargers have been offline since 31 December.
  • MainPower is planning a major network upgrade, expected late February.
  • New chargers may be installed during this period, with Coming Soon signage in place until they’re ready to use.

Oxford

  • The AC charger has been offline since 31 December.
  • The DC charger remains available for use.
  • Network upgrades are expected soon, with civil works for new chargers planned for March.

Woodend

  • The AC charger has been offline since 31 December.
  • The DC charger remains available.
  • Upgrade design work is currently underway.
