Monday 4 March - South Eyre Road

Starting Monday 4 March, CORDE will be starting work on South Eyre Road to improve the road surface. This project is expected to take 6-8 weeks.

Here's what to expect:

• Road closure: Between Wrights Road and Domain Road from 7am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.
• Night and weekend access: The road will be open overnight and weekends with a reduced speed limit.
• Detours:
  • Northbound: Follow signs on Depot Road to Burnt Hill Road, then Harewood Road, and back to South Eyre Road.
  • Westbound: Follow signs to Burnt Hill Road, then Harewood Road, and back to South Eyre Road.
  • Local traffic: Detours will be signed via Wrights Road/Domain Road (south of works) and Woodstock Road (north of works).

Stay informed:

• Warning signs: Will be placed from Monday to inform the public about the closure.
• Letters: Residents affected by the closure and detour will receive a this next week.

Wednesday  6 March - 190 High Street

The footpath in front of 190 High Street will be closed for up to two weeks starting next Wednesday due to building construction. Then, it will be closed again for up to 3 days for power line work. Pedestrians will need to use the opposite side of the road during the closures.
