In 2020, stormwater infrastructure was installed on Lineside Road from the Railway Road intersection to Morrison Cars. This project involves the second half of the Lineside Road stormwater improvements.
The purpose of this infrastructure is to reduce flooding at Lineside Road and Railway Road.

We're ready to commence Separable Portion B of the Lineside Road Drainage Upgrade project.
The works involve installing a stormwater pipe on the eastern side of Lineside Road, between Railway Road and Flaxton Road. The project extent for the new stormwater network will run from an existing manhole outside the NPD station, heading north to 694 Lineside Road (approx. 100m).
The works will commence overnight on Monday 9 September. Works are planned to be completed within 2 weeks, and will happen between the hours of 6pm and 6am to limit disruption.
During this time, access to the NPD and surrounding businesses will be limited between the hours of 6pm and 6am due to pipeline construction at the northern entrance to NPD off Lineside Road.
During construction (night) Lineside Road will be closed in the Southbound direction, with traffic being re-directed towards Station Road and Railway Road. During the day, the trench will be reinstated to the top of asphalt with gravel with 2-way traffic established.
The bus stop outside Yamaha will be closed.
12 April 2024In addition to the stormwater infrastructure, a new footpath will be installed along the eastern side of Lineside Road to provide a safer route for pedestrians and cyclists. The work will include
