We wish to advise residents and businesses on the Ohoka Water Supply Scheme that essential work is being carried out as part of the Ohoka UV Water Treatment Upgrades Project.
This is the final stage of the upgrade, and it now requires switching over from the old system to the new one.
We understand this may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding as we complete this important work.
Monday 29 September
- There will be a full water shut-off from 7.30am and could extend up until 11.30am while the new UV plant is brought into service.
- After this, you may experience short, periodic disruptions to water pressure throughout the remainder of the day while other minor testing work takes place.
Tuesday 30 September
- You may notice brief disruptions (less than 5 minutes each) to water pressure during the day while testing of the new backup generator takes place.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. These works are essential to ensure the long-term safety, reliability, and resilience of your water supply.
If there are any changes to this scheduled work, we will update you as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
