This morning, one of our kerbside collection trucks experienced a hydraulic hose blowout. Unfortunately, the driver only noticed the issue after completing several streets in Pegasus.
Affected Streets:
- Tangiwai Street
- Infinity Drive
- Kawari Drive
- Hikuraki Street
- Kokopu Street
- Kawakawa Street
Currently, Waste Management has deployed its cleanup team to the site to mitigate the spill. They are working diligently to clean up as much as possible and have begun applying grit. However, there may still be residual contamination remaining in the area.
