Restricted area

  • No one is allowed on the premises under 18 years of age
  • Typically applies to night clubs and gaming areas

Supervised area

  • People under 18 years of age are allowed if they are with a parent or legal guardian
  • Alcohol will not be sold to anyone under the age of 18
  • Alcohol may be supplied to someone under 18 by their parent or legal guardian
  • Applies to at least part of the premises for taverns and hotels

Undesignated area

  • People of any age may be present
  • Alcohol will not be sold  to anyone under the age of 18
  • Alcohol may be supplied to someone under 18 by their parent or legal guardian
  • Typically applies to restaurants and sports and other clubs
