When a fully completed application form with all supporting documentation is received by the Council, it is referred to the person responsible for your preferred area to process, you will be contacted by phone within one week to arrange an appointment for an 'Application Interview'.
After the interview, if your application is approved, your name will be placed on the waiting list. Units are allocated on a need basis and not necessarily offered to the first person on the waiting list. The applicant’s current living arrangements and any medical requirements are also considered when units are allocated.
Please check housing for the elderly policy for eligibility and criteria.
