Aircraft operators must avoid occupying the airspace and land of the Ashley River/Rakahuri and Saltwater Creek estuarine area. When in this area, the taking off and landing of aircraft, including microlights and helicopters, is restricted to a specific section of Ashworths Beach
Aircraft usage on Ashworths Beach is subject to a user agreement developed with the Canterbury Recreational Aircraft Club (currently being developed).
