The Waimakariri District Council is one of the largest employers in the Waimakariri District and has become an employer of choice.
Currie Park in Kaiapoi is due for an upgrade and we are asking the community to share their ideas to help develop a new concept plan for the park.
The park includes a small playground, large grass area, park benches and native gardens.
Council’s Green Space Manager Grant MacLeod says, “This consultation focusses on the playground, but we also want to hear from the community about other opportunities to improve the whole park.”
Ideas and suggestions from the community will be used to create a concept plan for the park development. Council will then ask the community for feedback on a draft design, which will be considered by the Kaiapoi-Tuahiwi Community Board for final approval.
