All votes received up to Friday night (11 October 2019) and on Saturday (12 October) have been counted and preliminary results for the Waimakariri District local body elections are now available. No change to overall standings.

Final results will be formally declared later in the week (est. Thursday or Friday). This includes approx. 350 special votes.

All votes received up to Friday night (11 October 2019) have been counted and progress results for the Waimakariri District local body elections are now available.
Based on these results Dan Gordon has been elected Mayor.
Further preliminary results will be released tomorrow - these include all voting papers received on Saturday at Council service centres.
