Grant MacLeod, Green Space Manager says, “We’ve heard the views of a few residents and now want to give the wider Silverstream community a chance to let us know what they think."
“Three locations have been identified for toilet facilities beside the reserve. We want to know which one will work best for the community as a whole.”
The feedback gathered through this consultation process will inform the Kaiapoi Tuahiwi Community Board who make the final decision over the location.
A feedback flyer about this consultation was delivered in error this week to residents – it had incorrect cost information. A new flyer with the correct information will be delivered to residents this Friday.
