We’re aware that some residents are receiving calls from a person claiming to be speaking on ”behalf of the Council” and offering subsidised home insulation through the Healthier Homes Canterbury initiative.
The Waimakariri District Council is not making any such calls to residents and this is likely to be a scam. Please feel free to hang up on the caller or if unsure, call us for advice on 0800 965 468.
You can find information about the genuine Healthier Homes Canterbury scheme, including a list of accredited installers, on the Environment Canterbury website.
