travelling SH1 through Woodend during the nights of Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 April will come across road work between Eders Road and Hewitts Road between 6pm and 7am.
The works are part of a routine maintenance programme being carried out by Downer for the New Zealand Transport Agency.
While work is
underway, the intersection of Woodend Road and Main North Road will be closed with
a detour in place via Rangiora-Woodend Road and School Road. As the work
includes asphalt surfacing at the intersection of Main North Road and Parsonage
Road, there will be no entry or exit from Parsonage Road to Main North Road.
Residents are asked to follow signage directing them via Stopforth Street and
will involve milling the road surface and laying a new asphalt surface. Stop/Go
traffic management will be in place while the work is underway. Please take care through the work site.
