Discover our ‘Sister City’ for Yourself

Here’s your chance to discover Enshi.

Waimakariri’s beautiful sister city is hosting a photo exhibition in Christchurch at the end of the month which provides the chance for Cantabrians to gain a glimpse into the far off land we now have official links to.

The Enshi Vision in Oceania exhibition displays 100 photographs which have been supplied by the Enshi Prefecture Photographic Association, showcasing the finest imagery of our Sister City, its people and its surrounds.

The exhibition, which will be held in the Rakaia Atrium at the ARA Institute of Canterbury, 130 Madras St, will last for three days, opening at 2pm on Saturday 29 April.

It then runs from 9am to 6pm on 30 April and 1 May.

Visitors will gain a glimpse into the stunning natural features of the Enshi Prefecture including visions of the world-renowned Chinese ‘Grand Canyon’, the ancient Tusi City, clear water river and the endless mountain tea gardens that are a strong feature of the region.

To get any closer, you will need to get on a plane…
