Waimakariri Land and Water Solutions programme - information and public meetings

Currently the Waimakariri Zone Committee is hosting public meetings to present the science behind the Waimakariri Land and Water Solutions Programme, and to explain the current state of our catchments.

These meetings are for everyone with an interest in water and the health of our waterways within the Waimakariri Zone, this extends a long way beyond farm irrigation and stockwater. There will be presentations on the health of our waterways and their ecology, impacts of climate, soils, social impacts, recreation, economics, etc. There are opportunities to ask questions and provide feedback.
