The previous Rangiora Town Centre Strategy that was adopted by Council in 2010. This was superseded by the Rangiora Town Centre Strategy, Blueprint to 2030+ when adopted by Council on 7 July 2020.
Waimakariri District Plan
The Council is required to have a District Plan prepared under the Resource Management Act 1991. To manage the issues outlined in the plan, a number of objectives, policies and methods, including rules, have been developed which relate to land use and subdivision. This webpage includes the ePlan version of the current Waimakariri District Plan and also information relating to the review of the Waimakariri District Plan including District Plan Effectiveness and Issues and Options findings.

Long Term Plan
The Long Term Plan describes community outcomes for the District and activities of the Council as well as setting out a long-term focus for the decisions and activities of the Council. The Long Term Plan was adopted by the Council in June 2018.
The Annual Plan contains proposed changes to the work programme and budgets, and key considerations for the Council to address during current financial years.
