The latest information from the Garrymere Water Supply Advisory Group
The Garrymere water supply scheme requires an upgrade in order to comply with the Drinking-water Standards for New Zealand. The Council consulted with residents on the scheme regarding a number of upgrade options in early 2018. Following this, Council opted to form a water supply advisory group so that staff could work alongside residents and elected members to ensure that a more collaborative approach was taken to identifying the best upgrade option. This page presents information from how the group has progressed from its initiation.
Note: There will be a public meeting to provide an opportunity to talk to staff, elected members, and the Advisory Group in more detail, and for the Council to answer any questions you may have. This will take place on 16 July 7.30pm at Loburn Domain.
