Gas Cylinder Update
The Waimakriri District Council are now able to accept 2kg to 9kg sized LPG Cylinders, and helium bottles, at Southbrook resource recovery park and Oxford Transfer Station.
We cannot accept any other gas cylinders (LPG bottles larger than 9kg capacity, CNG cylinders, gas welding bottles etc.) or fire extinguishers, until further notice.
Please do not put cylinders in the scrap metal or whiteware areas. Advise an attendant that you have a gas cylinder so that they get put in the right place.
