The Poyntzs Road Water supply requires an upgrade to comply with the Drinking-water Standards for New Zealand (DWSNZ). Following an options assessment, it has been identified that the best way to upgrade the scheme is to join it with the West Eyreton supply, which currently supplies water to the West Eyreton and Summnerhill communities.
The Council is considering the best way to fund this upgrade and would like to hear your views.
Three funding options have been identified. Information on the project background and full details about the funding options being considered are provided here, and have been posted to directly affected residents, to help those on the scheme make an informed submission.
