We want to hear your thoughts on the draft Owen Stalker Park Concept Plan.
Owen Stalker Park is due for an upgrade. Following recent community feedback, a concept plan has been created for the playground and surrounding landscape area. We now want your feedback on the proposed design.
Owen Stalker Park is a large park connected to both Woodend School and the Woodend Recreation Reserve. This park includes a playground, open grass areas, a BMX tract, and in the wider reserve are tennis courts, sports fields and a skate board half-pipe.
The surrounding community and users of the park have provided a wide range of feedback during the initial consultation and Council staff have used this feedback to create a draft Concept Plan for the park. Staff have worked hard to create a plan which caters to the needs of the community and the wishes of those who provided feedback. Let us know what you think.
The draft Owen Stalker Park Concept Plan is shown below and contains the following elements:
The information collected will be collated and reviewed and used to drive any changes that need to be made to the plan. It will then be presented to the Woodend-Sefton Community Board for consideration for final approval of the plan.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact Grant Stephens, Green Space Community Engagement Officer.
