During recent works along this section of road, two asphalt surface areas were identified as requiring further remediation to future-proof and allow for a smoother ride.
The work will include
- Relaying sections of asphalt road surface.
- Linemarking.
Timing of work
Weather allowing, the repair work will take place between Tuesday 7 and Friday 10 April. Work is expected to be completed on the same day.
How the work may affect you
Traffic impacts
While repairs are taking place a lane shift will be in place along Lineside Road. Two-way traffic and access to businesses will be maintained at all times.
Please take extreme care as cyclists will be merging with traffic.
General Impacts
Although we will try to minimise disruption, there will be some noise due to construction and the presence of heavy vehicles.
