Current Consultations

This section lists Council plans and projects that we are currently asking for your views about. Each consultation has all relevant documents available for reading online or downloading, an opening and closing date for submissions, and links to follow to make your submission online.

All documents and submission forms are available at the Council's service centres.

Draft Water Supply Bylaw 2012

The Council intends to make a Water Supply Bylaw to protect public health and safety and avoid public nuisance through its provision of potable water supplies to Waimakariri District communities.

Public submissions on the proposed bylaw open on Saturday 21 January 2012 and close on Friday 24 February 2012 at 4 pm.

Draft Waimakariri District Council Signage Bylaw 2011

The Council proposes to make a Signage Bylaw to control how signage is placed on the Council road reserve and to prevent signage being placed on Council property.

Public submissions on the proposed bylaw close on Tuesday 21 February 2012 at 5 pm.

 

How to Make a Submission

The process for making a submission may vary slightly with each consultation. Under the list of Current Consultations you will find all the instructions you need for making a submission.

Associated with this is information regarding presenting your submission to the Council in person as part of the hearings process.
