As the imagery shows, work is well advanced and while an opening date is yet to be set, the doors of the new facility should be unlocked before the end of next month.
The new facility is located on the corner of Main and Burnett Streets.
While its construction has been in progress, the library is operating from the Pearson’s Park pavilion, behind the playground.
All council and library services are available at the current location and service will continue uninterrupted until the doors at the library’s new home open.
