The Rangiora Toy Library is back in business!
While the library had operated out of two shipping
containers, as EQC strengthening work was carried out, the building was
reopened last Saturday with Waimakariri Mayor David Ayers, MP Matt Doocey and
Councillor Dan Gordon among the guests.
The star of the show, however, was Peppa Pig, who even found
time to pose with the two council representatives (pictured below) in-between the
cutting of the ribbon.
The library, which is located in Blackett Street, is now
fully online, has eftpos facilities, and a large number of new toys.
The Rangiora and Woodend toy libraries have now merged.
