Church Street Stormwater Pipeline Upgrade

A new stormwater pipeline will be installed in Church Street, between Johns Road and Palmer Street on the western side. Work will begin at the southern end of Church Street, progressing north.

When

Ongrade Drainage & Excavation Ltd will be starting work on Monday 6 March 2017 and is expected to take approximately six weeks.

How does work may affect you

  • Church Street, between Palmer Street and Johns Road will be reduced to one way for southbound traffic. A detour will in place for northbound traffic (refer map).
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained on the east side of Church Street.
  • Vehicle access may be restricted at times for properties on the western side of Church Street.
  • Access to Dudley Park Aquatic Centre from the south will be detoured via White Street or King Street. Please follow traffic signage.
  • All disruptions will be kept to a minimum and we will let you know advance of any disruptions relating directly to your property.

General Impacts

  • Hours: All work will be undertaken between 7.00am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday.
  • Weather: If bad weather is experienced or for unforeseen circumstances, the work may be delayed.
  • Safety: Safety is important to us. Please keep clear of moving machinery. If you need assistance through the work site, please signal a team member who will be happy to help you.
  • Noise and dirt: Noise, dust and vibration will be minimised as much as possible.
