Andrea Allen officially joins the Woodend-Sefton Community Board after the final result of the ward’s by-election was announced this afternoon by Electoral Officer Anthony Morton.
Allen led second-placed Peter Farrant by 140 votes to secure the win.
Six candidates stood for the position, which was vacated by the late Karen Eastwood.
Voting closed today.
The final results of the election are expected to be confirmed early-to-mid next week.
