The Council's Solid Waste Activity Management Plan gathers together information on the solid waste assets and services. It sets out the strategies and financial requirements for the solid waste activity for the next 10 years. It identifies any specific issues in terms of the following aspects:
- Desired and actual levels of service
- Asset condition
- Capacity of the assets
- Risks associated with the activities
- Growth predictions for the activities.
The Activity Management Plan also includes improvement plans specific to the solid waste activity. This identifies works needed to improve the way we manage our assets and activity.
