The Council's Roading Activity Management Plan sets out the strategies and financial requirements for the roading and transport network for the next 10 years.
As at 30 June 2011 the Council’s roading network comprised of:
- 868.7 kilometres of sealed roads
- 615.7 kilometres of unsealed roads
- 273 bridges
- 261.7 kilometres of footpath
- All associated infrastructure like off-road cycleways, signs, lighting, culverts and structures.
The total replacement cost of these assets was $678,588,879.
