This 52 hectare reserve near Clarkville sits
among rural surroundings. The clear spring-fed
Silverstream waterway runs through it.
The Parks and Recreation Unit of the Waimakariri District
Council has developed a reserve management plan
to guide the
Reserve’s future. The Plan promotes public access for
compatible recreational activities, along with conservation
and enhancement of the Reserve's natural qualities.
