Rangiora Town Hall

Rangiora Town Hall

Opened in 1926, the Rangiora Town Hall is a notable historic building in the Waimakariri District. The building received Landmarks heritage recognition at a ceremony on 27 May 2010. It is located in a prominent position at the western end of Rangiora town centre on the corner of High and King Streets. The hall was closed in 2012 for seismic strengthening and building extensions. The refurbished and restored Rangiora Town Hall reopened on Saturday 7 March 2015 at 2 pm. View a video of the opening ceremony on YouTube
