Injury Prevention Waimakariri
is governed by an advisory group comprised of representatives from ACC,
Education, Darnley Club, Fire Service, Waimakariri District Council,
Water Safety, Rural Women, Police, St John and the Waimakariri

address the following issues:

- Child safety, including falls, drowning, driveway run-overs, cycle safety, poisons and burns and scalds
- Fire safety
- Falls prevention
- Older people's safety
- Rural safety.
Funky Farmworkers Food
Funky Farmworkers Food (FFF) is a pilot project set up by Injury
Prevention Waimakariri, Oxford Community Trust and Rural Canterbury PHO
to help support a healthy, happy workforce on farms in Oxford. FFF
presents an opportunity for your farm to endorse the healthy eating
