There are a variety of agencies and groups that provide community support in the Waimakariri District. Information relating to these can be found either on the CINCH website or in the Waimakariri Community Directory.
CINCH Community Information Christchurch
CINCH is a community information directory run by Christchurch City Libraries covering greater Christchurch and surrounding districts. The directory includes information on 6000 groups and individuals, as well as 2000 courses of study. Waimakariri District CINCH directories are updated quarterly.
For a small charge, you can request CINCH to provide you with information as printouts, mailing labels, or as a mail merge document. You can add your club or community group to the CINCH database if it's not already there on the CINCH website.
Waimakariri Community Directory
The Waimakariri Community Directory was updated in July 2012 and covers local and regional community and social services as well as a wide range of community groups and organisations.
Printed copies of the Waimakariri Community Directory are longer available. If you wish to order an update, phone Customer

Waimakariri Volunteer Directory
The Waimakariri Volunteer Directory was updated in October 2013 and outlines a wide range of social service groups, community groups and organisations under the headings Social Services, Community Groups, Recreational Activities, Emergency Services, Conservation/Environment and Sport and Information/Advising.
The Waimakariri Volunteer Directory (pdf, 251 kB) is free to download, or a hard copy can be picked up from Council service centres. Please complete this form (pdf, 1 MB) if you would like to add a new organisation to the directory, or correct any information contained in the directory.
